Yes, it is ok to use the latest kexts in OC 0.8.0.

Use Hackintool App to download the kexts you use on your system from the Extensions tab.

The app will check which kexts are installed, which version you are using and allow you to download the latest Release versions of the kexts for your system.

Download Hackintool from the developer on GitHub.

Simply drag and drop the extracted App to your Applications folder, and it can be used. It is a self-contained app, so as there is nothing to install.

When you select the Download icon the app will download the selected kexts to a new folder on your Desktop, named Hackintool_Kexts.

You can then Mount the EFI, navigate to the /EFI/OC/Kexts folder and simply replace the kexts with the latest versions downloaded to the Hackintool_Kexts folder.

Hackintool app can also be used to mount your EFI, from the Disk tab.
