Hi guys!

I want to update my hackintosh from Ventura to Sequoia.
I have a few questions:

  • I have just 1 ssd, can I split it in two, keep Ventura and install Sequoia? Is there a guide?
  • Is it safe to upgrade to upgrade to Sonoma and then to Sequoia?
  • Do I need to change something in my EFI to make Sequoia bootable?

Thank you :)

Yes to all. You can partition your SSD and during Sequoia installer just choose the new partition.
For Sequoia you'll need to make sure you've updated the kernel patches and kexts. Add a Max Kernel to any kexts that are specific to Ventura as not to cause a panic on Sequoia.

So I did the partition, tried to update the kernel patches and booted... i see the apple logo and the progress bar but it is stuck.
Here is my efi... any help would be really appreciated :)

Thank you! I've just tried but no luck... it's stuck D:

I updated the EFI with the right core count and now Ventura boots fine... Sequoia not yet... I don't know what is the problem :(
