Hey there !

Here's the situation: I managed to install macOS Sonoma 1 year ago and I've been using it mainly for Xcode. Until recently, the latest versions of Xcode are reserved for macOS Sequoia so I wanted to try to install the latter through the settings, but it never worked (macOS Installer in the bootpicker made me crash then rebooted in the bootpicker again).

I then tried to lean towards a like-new installation via USB key with recovery etc., but here again I have a problem.

With my EFI (works under Sonoma) when I launch it on the key, I just had the Apple logo displayed and then nothing, no response from the keyboard, and seems to be in panic mode. I don't know why but the verbbose mode won't activate (-v bootargs and much more).

The only reason I'm writing this is because I've really run out of ideas haha

It might also be a good idea to mention that I've done the AMD patches

Here's my configuration, which works for Sonoma:

CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x 8 Core

GPU: RX 6650 XT (Spoofed as a 6600)

Moth Board: MSI B550-A PRO

Ethernet: Realtek RTL8111.kext

Wifi/BT: FenVi HB1200

I'll attach my EFI if that's any help (Sonoma safe one).

Thank you very much and have a great evening!

Translated (yeah im French)

Have a look at this thread, it contains a number of revised kexts that may help you boot Tahoe.
