Hello guys,
I have been trying to install Big Sur and after following the Dortania guide thoroughly, I am now stuck on grey screen with movable cursor but couldn't get any further.
I'll provide as many as details possible to make the issue clear and maybe get a prompt solution.
Specs :
Ryzen 5 3500
Gigabyte A520M DS3H
Nvidia GT 710 2GB DDR3 (Gigabyte) - GK208 Variant
16 GB RAM ( 8 x 2) Dual Channel
OpenCore 0.7.2 - Debug Version
Followed Dortania guide.
Used their recovery copy of 11.2.1 Big Sur because of some XhciPortLimit issue in latest Big Sur build.
Already using AMD Patches with cpuid set.
Issue:
Get some text while booting up (using -v boot argument so) and then I see apple logo. After apple logo, I get stuck on grey screen with movable cursor.
Cannot continue after that.
Solution(s) tried:
1 - Cleared variable "prev-lang:kbd" in NVRAM section of config.plist file
While trying to look for solutions, I found many other users who use dual monitors face this but I don't use dual monitors. I just have one montitor (1680 x 1050 resolution) attached using VGA cable to the GPU.
Could this be an issue? Unsupported resolution or maybe VGA cable?
Attaching my EFI file and the last log I have. Any help would be appreciated.
