This kext has been developed and made available by Laobamac and is available from his GitHub repository (English version linked below).

This is an alternative method to add AppleHDA.kext back to macOS Tahoe, without the need for KDK downloads, OCLP or RP-Core root patching etc.
It is a single kext that you add to your OC kext folder and with a corresponding entry for the kext in your config.plist.
Simple as the name says.

At the time of writing SimpleHDA-Tahoe-v1.0.1-RELEASE is current and should be used in any Tahoe installation to add AppleHDA.kext to the OS.

- Revert the OCLP (Mod/Plus) or RP-Core Audio patches you are currently using.
- Reboot.
- Uninstall OCLP or RP-Core or any other variant of OCLP.
- You can choose to delete/remove any KDK's you have downloaded and installed.
- Mount your EFI.
- The SimpleHDA.kext needs to be added to your /EFI/OC/Kexts folder and the config.plist entry for the kext.
- SimpleHDA.kext has to be placed AFTER AppleALC.kext in your config.plist.
- The OpenCore-Kernel-Add.plist that you will find in the folder you downloaded should be used to add the kext entry to your own config.plist, as it has the necessary MinKernel and MaxKernel entries to limit the kexts use to Tahoe.
- You need to retain and use your Audio codec Layout ID information that you used in Sequoia or earlier, i.e. Boot argument alcid=xx or the DeviceProperties entry.
- You need to add 'keepsyms=1' boot argument to your config.plist.
- Reboot your system and you should have native Realtek Audio back as it was in earlier versions of macOS.
