I created an OpenCore USB installer for Mojave 10.13.6 using the Windows tools. After a lot of trials I have a USB installer with OpenCore 0.5.7 and all the necessary trimmings.
The problem is that I manage to boot into Opencore menu but I get stuck there. No Keyboard response. No matter what key I press (number or arrow) to boot the Mojave Installer (4 in my Opencore menu) or arrows (up nd down) to move to the proper menu entry, nothing happens.
Here is my Opencore stuff and config https://www.dropbox.com/s/dyhbtsfljazr2jh/OC.zip?dl=0
Any ideas of what is wrong?
thanks
UPDATE 1
Opencore seems a total crap for now (in my opinion) because it fails to boot the Installer even after following ALL the necessary steps laid out in the manual and in several installation instructions by various people. I spent 2 weeks trying to make a functional Opencore Mojave 10.14.6 installer (and one attempt of Catalina 10.15.4) and it all ended up to the same result: No keyboard after reaching the Opencore menu.
I finally gave up.
UPDATE 2
I am writing these updates from my new Mojave 10.14.6 Hackintosh. After a couple of days of experimentation I managed to build a functional Mojave Installer with Clover v5 r5116. I used XLNC's config.plist (with the 64 patches for the kernel) and some other adjustments particular to my motherboard (Gigabyte 990XA-UD3), like I used boot parameter npci=0x3000 and voila! The USB installer booted fine and I was able to install the Mojave onto a SSD disk. Followed the XLNC's instructions to circumvent the "Data & Privacy" constant reboot problem and now I have a (almost, because I experience some problem with powedown and reboot) working Mojave (Clover) AMD (FX-6300) Hackintosh.
I might try Opencore again on a later date if it becomes more mature. But for now I think I'll stick with Clover. Unless some person from the forum has some idea on how to solve my "no keyboard" problem.
