In addition to Intel 500 series, with Mieze's kext, and Aquantia 107/113 with CaseySJ's patches, you can use Chelsio T520 cards or Solarflare SFN5122F / SFN6122F cards (but not the "newer" PCIe 3.0 7122F) with the kext driver from the manufacturer (Catalina package still available from Chelsio, Solarflare driver archived here). These are old but good server cards, and are available at low (<$50) prices en eBay. The Chelsio driver also works with T6 cards such as the T6225; this may be the only kext solution for 25 Gb/s with a Ryzentosh.

I use Fenvi Aquantia/Marvell AQC113CS PCIe adapter cards in most of my hacks, using CaseySJ’s patches.
I have 7 x 10G NICs from this manufacturer, which I bought new from AliExpress for between £40 & £48 for each card including postage to the UK. I have not had any issues with them.
They work in a PCIe x4 slot, but only use x2 bandwidth.
