MSI b550m audio(ALCS1200A) cannot be driven. Several layout IDs of the latest version of applealc have been tried, but not yet (1, 2, 3, 11, 50, 51)

Did you use alcid=??? I used DeviceProperties layout-id and alc-layout-id and it refused to patch AppleHDA.

Did you find a solution for this? I'm running a MSI b550 gaming edge with the same ALCS1200A - can't seem to get audio working.

Hi @tdubbs and @BG4QL

We have same mainboard. On the boot-args I've set alcid=3 and suddenly works. Then based on Fixing Audio guide to make it permanent, we need to add to Device Properties and PciRoot path and its value (in my case, 3 is works). After that I remove the alcid form boot-args.

But unfortunately after restart, no audio anymore. The weird thing is on the Sound settings its able to detect my headphone, only sound not there.

I'm sure the patch also correct

Anyone of you been try another options?
