I have a lenovo 14w gen 2 laptop with an AMD 3015e and Radeon graphics. I doubt that it would be supported, but opencore simplify told me that it was (I know it's not a trusted source). So I just wanted to know if it was by any means, because it's the only laptop I have that I could potentially install MacOS on. Thanks!
The 2-Core CPU mentioned above is from the AMD 3000 series, so in theory it should be supported in macOS with the appropriate kernel patches and NootedRed.kext for the AMD IGPU (Vega 3).
I haven't seen evidence of a low end AMD laptop of this nature being Hacked to run macOS, so you might be the first.
I would recommend you check the Bios to see if the amount of RAM allocated to the AMD IGPU can be increased beyond 256mb. If it can't then don't bother with the OpenCore setup. As you will need a minimum of 512mb to run macOs with any graphics capabilities. Obviously it would work better with 1GB or more of VRAM.
Check in Windows or Linux whichever OS you are currently running. Device Manager or Settings > System > About should say how much RAM is allocated to the IGPU.
Not being able to adjust the VRAM in the bios would be a big no-no to me.
I had a similar issue with a Lenovo ThinkCentre M75q-1 (mini PC), where the max VRAM allowed in the Bios was 256mb. I could and did install Sequoia and Tahoe, but without the increased VRAM using the system was painful and simply not worth the effort. I had increased the RAM in the system with the intention of setting the VRAM to 2GB using Smokeless-UMAF (third-party AMD bios tool), but even that failed.
