this is the question

I've been using as my daily driver for software development since Beta 2

Brave people :)

I tend to wait for .2 release then upgrade.

I have my home directory on separate volume. I can just reinstall MacOS and be up and running again in 30min if something goes wrong.

Installing the first Beta was a pain as I had to run MacOS from an USB stick to hook my SSD as raw disk image into VirtualBox to run the installer 😂

My other volume is Windows 10, with sole purpose of playing Age of Empires 2 DE on it :)

I meant separate APFS volume (e.g. partition), not on a separate disk.
It also allowed me to install Big Sur initially parallel to Catalina, sharing my home directory across both installs.
