CPU:
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
I'm completely new to Hackintosh and don't understand anything yet. I looked at another thread and they talked about deleting AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement.kext and SMCAMDProcessor.kext, but I compiled everything using OpCore and can't find a single kext.

A few thing to know about installing macOS Tahoe:
  1. You need to disable WhateverGreen.kext during the installation, it can be enabled after macOS Tahoe is installed.
  2. AppleALC.kext doesn't work natively in macOS Tahoe. You need to, as part of the post installation process, install AppleHDA.kext to get the builtin Audio working.
  3. Apple changed the way USB ports need to be configured for Tahoe. This requires us to use USBMap.kext not any other USB configuration kext, which can only be run as a post installation process in macOS.
    1. Lacking a USB configuration you may need to use/Enable the Kernel > Quirks > XhciPortLimit entry in your config.plist.
    2. I would recommend using a USB2 port for the installation, one on the rear I/O plate with a black tang.
More specifically about your setup.
  1. Your RX 580 may need a VBios fix, in order for it to work in macOS. As these 2048SP models are known to be problematic with their native VBios. Have a read of the thread over at Tonymacx86 regarding your dGPU and macOS.
    1. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...48sp-graphics-card-work-on-hackintosh.328087/
  2. The SSDT-PLUG.aml table in your /EFI/OC/ACPI folder may not work. You might need to disable it during the installation and try it again after macOS has been installed.
  3. As you have a Gigabyte motherboard, it is unlikely that you need to use the SSDT-USB-Reset.aml table. As this ACPI table is aimed at ASUS motherboard users.
I have made a few minor changes to your config.plist in the attached EFI-2 folder below. See if this helps.

Of course, I was in a bit of a hurry and just removed only WhateverGreen.kext, now it seems like the installation is going. Let's see what happens next. I'll answer as soon as the installation passes. Thank you for your reply!

I had the same issue/error but simply removing WhateverGreen fixed it. Was gonna suggest that but you figured it out already. :) I boot my current Sequoia install without WEG now too.

Only now it's just a black screen and a cursor, nothing else happens.

It worked, but now another problem has surfaced. The password I assigned at the start simply doesn't work. I'm now looking for a way to fix this!

If you signed in to iCloud as part of the macOS Tahoe installation then this is something that can happen. I didn’t realise it until I installed Tahoe without signing in to iCloud. There is nothing wrong with your password, it is just another bug curtousy of Apple.

There's a kext to fix this, but I don't know how to add it. "You need to add apfs_aligned.efi to Drivers and enable EnableJumpstart in UEFI/APFS." (quote from 4pda)
