Just built my first desktop 2 years ago after my first desktop build ( I was living on campus at college) 22 years ago. The build was to commemorate my career transition to Network Engineering. Just started dipping my toe in the pool of Ryzentosh after following the Hackintosh movement for a few years.
BTW, my first PC build had an AMD Athlon XP 2000+ processor. My first laptop was DIY;DTR with ASUS Z80K Mobile AMD Athlon 64 processor with an ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 graphics card. However, I succumbed to the Dark Side of the Force...Intel. Fortunately after AMD introduced Ryzen, Team Red back again.
