Hey all, I'm Chris, from the UK.
I'm a mental health nurse in my day job. When I'm not working most of my time is taken up with my second job - the kids
and I manage my oldest daughters' grassroots football team.
When I do get a spare minute I love tinkering with tech. Have set up a full Unifi network/security at home including a UDM Pro, USW Aggregation, Pro Max 16 PoE switch, G4 Pro PoE doorbell, and a few G5 turret ultras. I also have a DIY Unraid box with 10GbE networking hosting my Plex library, TVHeadend server amongst others!
I have a degree in music production as well as nursing, and it was the music stuff that initially introduced me to Macs. I have had various iMacs/MBP's in the past as well as a few hackintosh's. I'm well and truly in the apple ecosystem with iPhone, watch, iPad Pro, Apple TV 4K, and the kids all have iPads and iPhones too.
This seems like a great community with some really useful info and resources that have helped big time with my own build (I have posted a thread in the "success stories" section earlier this morning of my wall mounted X570 build, but the thread doesn't seem to be appearing yet).
