Hello folks,
I have Sequoia 15.3 running on an Asus ROG Crosshair X670E Hero with 79050x3d. I have a disabled onboard 4090 and RX6600XT. I have 2 nvme drives and a sata connected 870 evo. I never got the network to work so install took place using unplugged.

The machine is awesome, runs excellent and does what I need it for but I have issues that I can’t seem to be able to fix regardless of multiple tries from various instructions

  1. Wireless doesn’t work
  2. Wired LAN doesn’t work
  3. BT doesn't work
  4. I get a memory issue popup that I can’t resolve (Memory Modules Misconfigured, to improve performance, install memory in pairs and include at least four modules)
  5. Only two USB ports are functional. One usb and one usbc regardless of having remapped a number of times and having used both native and usbmap kext. I am now using a powered hub which is fine but a bit annoying
  6. Can’t get into an iCloud account because my network is a wired usb dongle.
  7. SATA not recognized at all (I generally don't really care about that)
  8. Second nvme not recognized at all (I generally don't really care about that)
Wondering if folks may have some insight into some of these having the same hardware.

I would primarily like to get LAN working so I can the get into an iCloud account (from what I understand, an internal en0 is required) so I can continue with updates. Would be nice to get WiFi and BT working but the world won't end if that doesn't end up working.

hi @jah-roole try to take a look here
i use that Hero for my wife pc now and ethernet works perfectly:
i changed internal wifi with a broadcom one and i used for it OCLP
you must also enable caseySj patch i see disabled in your config.plist (you can also disable Visual patches not useful for you
not using patch i said above create some conflict in your motherboard in ethernet and thunderbolt part
you can find in this forum some stories when this problem was discovered

from my link above you can take ethernet kext i used
1) correct
2) works
3) like 1) if you do not change internal WIFI
4) solved with a working nvram after you adjust missing patch
5) all USB work (you have to map properly)
6) works perfectly
7) problem casude from missing patch
8) same as above (i use 4 NVME in that board (Gen 4)

Interesting, I will take a look at that. Thank you for the link. I tried enabling the caseysj patch which was disabled but when enabled, the machine won't boot
