Hello guys!

I've been trying to install big sur through opencore for a while, so far without success! I managed to get the menu to appear once but the keyboard didn't work. I managed to get High Sierra but it is too outdated for the function I want to use (xcode and flutter). Here's my Config.plist and my specs.

My bios is legacy, but when I perform the procedure through bootice, it gives this error just below.

If anyone has a similar specification and wants to make the EFI available I would be grateful.

Specs:
m5a78l-m lx/br
AMD FX-6300
nvidia gtx 1050

Your Nvidia GPU isn’t supported in any version of macOS after High Sierra. So trying to install Big Sur is unlikely to have a positive result.

But if you want to have a go at Big Sur then you may want to have a look at the EFI I created for my FX 8350 system, link below to success forum post.

Hello how are you? I tried to follow your guide when I had High Sierra installed, on the video card I was watching some Brazilian videos of "patch" for gtx 1050 in Monterey and big sur. I just can't boot yet, how do I turn this EFI into legacy? It's for a UEFI bios, right?

How did you create this EFI? Looks like your OpenRuntime version is lower than your OC version. Also, you didn't clean out your Drivers folder. I suggest you to follow the Dortania guide and pay attention.

To set the EFI for Lgacy booting you need to use the Legacy-boot script in the OC Utilities folder. This script can be found in each release of OC. This script will create a Boot file, which your system will use to boot OC.

The script will ask you to select your boot drive and place the Boot file alongside the EFI folder.

Thanks for the reply, I created by following the Dortana guide, i was watching indian videos yesterday and maybe my problem with legacy bios will be solved. But now i can't boot at all, it boot my windows instead of pendrive (with macOs).

Can i send you my EFI folder? Then you can help me better, i guess

Yes, post (compress/zip and attach) a copy of your OC EFI folder and I will see what is wrong.

I no longer have my FX-6300/Sabertooth 990FX Hackintosh system. I do have a copy of the OC EFI I used, so it should be good for a comparison with your setup, even if it is a bit out of date compared to the current OC release..

I'm using your EFI-0.81 (with some adjustments), i found it in your posts. I create the boot file by following the Dortana Guide (with bootice x64) and using a proper OpenCore release (0.81). I get BOOT MISMATCH again with this setup.
I'm almost giving up and continue with windows to coding, see if you can solve this issue for me.
Thanks anyway

Why not make your own one following ONLY the Dortania guide? If you have issues, ask here. Prebuilt EFIs are never a good idea.

I've tried, but when i make my own EFI, all complete, reading all the guide, it wont boot or give me the same error. I'm kinda stuck at acpi, with my amd config.
I readed the guide so many times, and even after all that time i'm getting errors. Tried differents drivers, kexts, acpis. Amd Vanilla Patches, none of that seems to work.
All that time and i cant even boot to opencore picker. Its kinda frustrating.
