Help! I can't get Docker up and running AMD OSX Monterey

I've tried so many of these work arounds... can anyone help me get Docker running in Monterey?! I have been trying for weeks, using multiple versions of Docker and VirtualBox under 7.0
Here are tons of links and research that I've tried. optimally I'd like to get the dinghy version (first link) to work:

Docker via VirtualBox-6.1.26-145957 + dinghy + docker machine
