1st time in your online community (because 1st try with AMD).
After 2 intel builds I am struggeling for some days with my current system:
ASUS Mainboard (TUF Gaming B650-E WIFI), newest bios
Ryzen 7900x, 32 GB
Because the iGPU seems not to work I bought a used Radeon RX 580 but seem to have gotten exactly one that can not be used (XFX Pine Group RX 580).
EFI was build from scratch (opencore guide) multiple times and also from OC-Simplify (because I am still too stupid for the SSDT-yourself approach).
I can not get far from the picker, found divirts and calculated MMIO whitelist (but can not calculate slide because OpenShell refuses to start - seems to be another problem).
I also tried some crossflashing the XFX to other 580 cards or 570 downgrade but that did not work (did not even show graphics so I reflashed with a vnc connection).
Maybe someone has a hint if the XFX GPU is worth further tries or should just be replaced?
