I want to use a hackintosh for video editing and music mainly.
IMy build should be based on Gigabyte Aorus prowifi X570i
Radeon xt 5700 itx powercolor (small format itx)
Very standard.
What I don't understand is if a specific kernel is needed when you install Catalina.
Apparently it goes through kernel patches inside EFI ? I didn't manage to find my answer in the

The other question is : is there a brand of memory that is not recommended for an AMD build ?
I already have couple of Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x16 3200.
