Hi!
After updating to latest BIOS on my AsRock X670E PG Lightning a bunch of problems arises. Ethernet not working (was resolved modifying the kext RTL812xLucy deeply, a post will be made).
Unfortunately i'm stuck and not properly working Shutdown and also sleep and wake. i've tried making some patches to DSDT on my own but without success i'm wondering if my bios need the patches in this post.
Both bioses attached 1.21 that was working and 3.5 that was not working. all the bioses after and included 2.0 exibit those problems.
Can someone help me?
Thanks

Your shutdown troubleshooting doc is a fascinating read, so thanks for that.

Not sure why you expect anyone else to offer anything more with regards your testing and ruling out specific issues seen in the various logs. I for one don’t go that deep into troubleshooting issues, not when there is a straightforward solution to hand.

I struggle with why you moved to the new bios, when everything worked in the older bios, including the shutdown/wake issue. Was there something specific in the new bios that your system couldn’t do without?

The problem is that, from reading your document, you're already at "guru" level of technical skills yourself…

I notice you first posted in another thread by @errevi involving an AsRock B650E motherboard. Has the issue been reported from other manufacturers? If not, it might not be an AGESA issue but AsRock doing something on its own.
I trust that you have analysed ACPI tables from BIOS 1.21 onwards to see if something had changed.

Which post? Are you referring to MY patches?

If so, you may try the MSI version from this post (and below) on your AsRock X670E motherboard (patches #1a and #3a looking for the ACPI condition with a mask of three bytes) as an alternative to your set of "AM5 translate" patches, if I correctly guess the purpose of these.
I had previously determined that the orginal version of the patches (developped from various Asus motherboards) fitted an AsRock X870E Taichi Lite, but your 4.41 DSDT shows different patterns. The 1.21 DSDT has no conditional declarations.
