Hi guys,

I am planning to switch an AMD RX560 for an AMD RX550 (Baffin Core) which the latter is claimed to have support in MacOS.
I am on latest Monterey Update. What do I have to take care of? NVRAM? Kext? Or just swap them out, reboot and everything is fine?
Thanks

Swap them out and it should take care of itself. Apple provide the AMD drivers as part of macOS so no need to add or remove any kexts.

I assume you already use a recent version of WhateverGreen.kext with the RX560 card, so no change required there either.

Wouldn't hurt to use the ClearNvram and ResetSystem tools from the OC boot screen, once the new card has been installed and you look to undertake the first boot in to macOS with the new card.
