Hi guys,
i bought a new motherboard, the asrock B550m steel legend, to update and run Monterey (my former MSI motherboard is not supported).
First i tried to boot my hackintosh (specs in my signature) with Big Sur and the new motherboard (no changes on my efi folder or config.plist)... everything went just fine.
Then i decided to update to Monterey... a couple of reboots, i did run "clean NVRAM" and then tried to boot into the mac.
But the i'm alway stuck at the apple logo (about at 50% of the loading bar).

And i tried to select the "Recovery 12.2" and it boots in the recovery menu.

Do you have any ideas to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

With B550 you need the CPUR SSDT. It's available in the Dortania guide.

Yeah i know... i solved the problem entering in recovery mode and selecting the boot drive!

Monterey seems a bit slower than big sur, but the real problem here is that the wifi doesn't work and when i go in system preferences i get this message "Could not load network preference" (with big sur the wifi was fine).

My wifi card uses "Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz" and i have AirportItlwm.kext.

Can you help me with this?

Did you update AirportItlwm.kext to the Monterey version?

Ops i forgot about the monterey version xD Thank you very much! :D

I have the same problem but with the bluetooth.... i'm using IntelBluetoothFirmware and IntelBluetoothInjector... for them i don't see a monterey version 🤔

Remove IntelBluetoothInjector.kext and use BlueToolFixup.kext instead.
