Hi all sages in the forum,

My system:
Ryzen 5 2600
MSI B350 PC-Mate
RAM DDR4 32 GB
AMD Radeon RX 5600XT
Monterey 12.7.6
iMac 19,2

I've been trying to install Ventura (want to update to Sonoma, eventually) by following several guides, but with no success. I tried both a USB and even internal SSD separately as a bootable installation disk, and they showed up in the boot picker; however, it's stuck at Apple logo without a progress bar. I left it for 2 nights, but no change, so I guess it's really stuck there, and so am I.

It would be great if you could help me... I attached my EFI. Thank you in advance.

Try this cleaned up and edited EFI, see if it works any better with your system.

Thank you so very much! It did work like a charm. However... I ended up updating Ventura to Sonoma without doing further research, and voila, I lost WiFi (Fenvi T919, BC4360). I tried Root Patcher in Open Core Legacy Patcher, but it didn't work...

Well you know the answer, do some research on using the Broadcom WiFi with OpenCore Legacy Patcher.

Jumping from Ventura to Sonoma may have been a bit quick, as I am sure you could have sorted out any other issues such as USB mapping in Ventura before moving to a newer version of macOS.
