I have a 5900X+WX4100 host. In macOS15, it can be used normally without adding weg. After updating to macOS26, the ota installation is completed. When entering the system, the boot passes normally, and then the screen is black (with backlight) and cannot be displayed. Whether weg is added or not, the problem is the same. Can this card only wait for repair?
I will bring you good news. I have completed a new installation on the latest macOS26 beta2 version. Apple still retains Metal2 for the time being (I don't know when it will be deleted)
How are you connecting the WX4100 to your monitor?
Are you using a mDP adapter or adapter cable?
If yes, which adapter?
Which cable connection are you using on your monitor/display?
Also it might help if you told us which motherboard you are using and provided a copy of your EFI folder, with the Serial Number removed/deleted from the config.plist. So we can see more clearly what you are using.

When I tried to boot the macOS26 recovery mirror image, the boot got stuck here.
One more thing, I changed the cable from minidp to hdmi to minidp to dp, but the screen is still black after booting.

I think first of all you need to make sure that a Radeon Pro WX 4100 graphics card has macOS Tahoe support. It is known that the Rx400 and Rx500 series with the same core do not currently support Tahoe.

If the exact message is not supported, I will stay in macOS15, but now, I have two problems:
1. Boot macOS26 installer image stuck in the position of Figure 1
2. When I tried to boot the recovery mirror image of macOS26 upgraded by ota, it got stuck in the position of Figure 2.
