So, here is my current setup and... first attempt at a Ryzentosh
What is working :
Feel free to ask any question. If you have any pointer for the sleep thing, you're welcome.
- Installed OS : Catalina 10.15.6
- CPU : Ryzen 7 3700X
- Motherboard : Gigabyte Aorus B550i PRO AX (ITX)
- RAM : 32GB 2133Mhz
- GPU : Saphire RX590 8GB
- HDD : Crucial P1 NVMe 500GB
What is working :
- Everything but sleep and
bluetooth. It goes to sleep but... I can't get it to wake up. Both issues are probably tied to USB settings. I should invest some time into that. Seems complicated. - Bluetooth works !
- I haven't tried or setup iMesages as I have no use for it.
- I pretty much followed Dortania guides : https://dortania.github.io/
- Had to flash my BIOS to the latest version as I encountered glitches : https://forum.amd-osx.com/index.php...d-of-install-screen-b550-rx590.944/#post-4634
- Copied the BIOS settings from another success : https://forum.amd-osx.com/index.php...hunderbolt-3-via-aic-bluetooth-usb-bt400.757/
- As expected, I had to set up manually ethernet (as a "1000Mbps full duplex" NIC in MacOS settings). Currently my home network doesn't support 2.5GBps ethernet.
- Same same to make my boot drive an internal drive.
- Downloaded specific version using Adobe Packager
Adobe Offline Package Generator v0.1.2 (macOS only)
Adobe Offline Package Generator v0.1.2 (macOS only) - ccdl.commandgist.github.com - Installed Creative Cloud as it's required to install Adobe apps.
- Quit Adobe CC.
- Installed Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign and Lightroom Classic.
- Ran AdobeAMDFix
