I have just managed to get Wifi & Bluetooth working on my Gigabyte B450 I Aorus Pro WiFi but I still cannot get iMessage working. I think I remember reading somewhere that this is down to the serial number used in the config.plist? Is that correct? I have tried quite a few serial numbers but still no luck. Has anyone had success with iMessage?

Yeah I’ve got iMessage and FaceTime working. Take a look here, https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Post-Install/universal/iservices.html
Thanks. I think that is where I read about the serial number thing. I have GenSMBIOS I also have an Apple user id from when I had my iMac 27, which is still on my account. I also have an iPhone XS on there.

So I generate a bunch of serials and then...do I simply keep trying different ones in my config.plist until iMessage works?

I was wondering about the whole MacPro1,1 thing. Why is it that most of us are using that? If our systems are being seen as say for example, MacPro 2017 i5. That would never have been a MacPro1,1 so should't we be using something later?

Most on AMD use either iMacPro1,1 (i here is important) or MacPro7,1. Some use MacPro6,1 due to their GPU.

Pretty much yeah. It's a lot of trial and error.

On AMD there's no real need for a matching SMBios tbh. On Intel it helps with iGPU and CPU power management.
