Because you can purchase an AMD CPU with integrated graphics. Your Ryzen 7 2700X isn't one of those CPU's. So the two display out ports are of no use in your system.
You need to use a discrete Graphics card in your system, like your RX 550 card.
You can always upgrade your CPU to use a Ryzen 4600G/5600G or 4700G/5700G or another CPU, which contains an integrated GPU. Your B450 motherboard will support most 3000G, 4000G and 5000G CPU's with the right Bios. See the specifications and Compatibility pages for your MSI board, linked below.
