I just re-did the update to 0.5.8, this time from scratch but with the same result. I have latest copies of all kexts, drivers, boot - consistent with 0.5.8. Went through every line of the plist following the guide. Double checked bios settings for grins. The only complaint from sanity check is...

Thanks for looking. I'm pretty sure I did; I Just double checked my efi folder and BOOT/BOOTx64.efi shows a modify date of April 6 and is 33kb which I'm showing matches that provided with 0.5.7. FWIW, I do get to a picker and was able to reset NVRAM. No joy.
