Any updates? So the kext is definitely dead? Did someone tried to perform a whole setup from the beginning? I'm not able to perform a full install with the kexts suggested above. Can you please suggest any PCIEx ethernet devices to be paired to escape this problem?
That's the only kext that worked at first try (it allowed me to browse Safari before starting with the setup) but after the setup started it died after a few minutes. I'll give it another try in the next few days.
It's almost impossible to perform a full setup: at the very beginning the setup downloads very slowly as the time asks you to wait for about one and a half hour (I have 1gbps internet connection and usually it takes no longer than half an hour), then it hangs for 10 minutes or so and after that...
Tried a brand new hackintosh setup (coming from Big Sur, I decided to start over), the ethernet is recognized (I can browse the internet through Safari but the setup crashes after a few minutes. Sounds like the kext is not working properly
