Nice one thank you but this would of been useful info to start with instead of just posting the kext and claiming it works. If future it would be very helpful explaining something fully so people understand straight away. 👍

That kext does not work on anything other then a TRX40 board bud. Dead as a door nail on a X570-E I shall ask a few other TRX40 users to give it a go and make sure that is the case.

Intresting, Does it survive the tests I set out in my last post? I don’t think that will work with anything other then a TRX40 board but there’s only one way to find out I guess. time to test it out myself!

isn’t that the AppleGB kext with a rename? LOL If you put the system to sleep then wake it again does the kext keep working? also same question but if the system is left idol for a while on the desktop without going to sleep?? if you have wifi on your system as well then you need to disable it...

Unfortunately that kext drops out intermittently so it only kind of works. work may continue on it if the smalltree kext stays dead..

Yep for you it’s smalltree for sure. i hope this is just a beta 9 hiccup otherwise it’s going to be hard to get that kext fixed as the original dev of the kext isn’t interested nor does he have the hardware to do anything about it. :(

I think you are getting your ports mixed up there old bean, LucyRTL8125Ethernet.kext on Beta 9 is working perfectly fine, However SmallTreeIntel82576.kext is borked again using Beta 9 The SmallTreeIntel82576.kext came back to life in Beta 7 and 8 and they have taken it away again from us...

As @Shaneee said, Beta 9 works just fine. With 0.7.4 there's no messing around with anything, you just update like normal as it should be :)

It definitely won’t hurt to change over just remember to sign out of the icloud before you do and generate new SMBIOS details for yourself for 7,1.

Not a lot TBH lol its a newer SMBIOS and better for Navi/Big Navi GPUs but it was changed from 1,1 to 7,1 mainly by request from the masses.

No never anything like that. check your ram for stability or and if you are running a OverClock or PBO tuning then that’s probably the culprit

It’s totally compatible, The only real difference is the USBMap.kext so either disable it or replace it with your own if you have one. Other then that your good. 👍
