    Battery Not Detected During Dual-Boot

LOL! you are using an EFI for a different laptop and wonder why you have issues. If you can't be bothered to create your own EFI, why would anyone want to help you with an EFI not designed for your system?

macOS lagging for the first few minutes after booting and logging in

That seems to be the most obvious option to me. Replacement batteries start at around £30 + postage in the UK. https://www.asuslaptopbattery.co.uk/asus-vivobook-15-m1502ia-bq201w-battery.htm You might find a cheaper option on eBay or Amazon.

macOS lagging for the first few minutes after booting and logging in

It is unlikely to be a Power Management issue. If that were the case then the lagging would occur when you ran the laptop on the mains power, not just when you used the battery. Starting to use macOS Sequoia as your daily OS isn't going to be the issue either. As the issue only arises when...

macOS lagging for the first few minutes after booting and logging in

Yeah, that looks more like what I expected to see. Still has the ‘Service Recommended’ option for the battery, so the battery obviously doesn’t work correctly in macOS. I think this is why you have the lag, due to an issue with the battery. Sorry I don’t know what to tell you, other than to...

macOS lagging for the first few minutes after booting and logging in

That’s weird, in that the battery isn’t showing as charging when the mains power adapter is plugged in. Did you refresh the Power report screen (press CMD+R) after plugging the adapter into the laptop? Also it says the battery needs servicing, which in a real Mac would mean it isn’t working...

macOS lagging for the first few minutes after booting and logging in

Ok, the Voodoo kext test was my last thought on something in your OC setup causing the lag. Have you checked the System Information > Power report? What does it say about your laptop’s battery? Can you post a couple of screenshots of the Power report, one while the mains power is unplugged...

macOS lagging for the first few minutes after booting and logging in

If you turn off the Trackpad (press corner to disable) and use a USB Mouse, does the lagging still happen? You may need to see if one of the VoodooPS2Mouse.kext or VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext is causing the issue. Disable one of these two kexts in your config.plist, reboot and see if the lagging...

macOS lagging for the first few minutes after booting and logging in

I've had a look through the ACPI tables you provided above and would comment as follows: SSDT-14 to SSDT-19 inclusive, are copies of the custom SSDT's you are currently using in your OpenCore setup. DSDT, SSDT and SSDT-1 to SSDT13 inclusive are the native AMD ACPI tables from your laptop...

    Can't boot from bootable USB

Well you know the answer, do some research on using the Broadcom WiFi with OpenCore Legacy Patcher. Jumping from Ventura to Sonoma may have been a bit quick, as I am sure you could have sorted out any other issues such as USB mapping in Ventura before moving to a newer version of macOS.

macOS lagging for the first few minutes after booting and logging in

Try disabling AsusSMC.kext. See if that makes any difference. The kext supports the following: Full Fn keys support Native ALS support Native keyboard backlight support (16 levels, smooth transition, auto adjusting, auto turning off) Battery Health Charging As far as I can tell this kext...

    stuck on [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START]

None of the issues shown in the Verbose text image are present in the EFI folder you attached above. The verbose text image shows that a number of device names in a few SSDT's can't be found. However, your revised/new EFI folder only contains SSDT-CPUR.aml and SSDT-EC-USBX-AMD.aml, neither...

macOS lagging for the first few minutes after booting and logging in

How does the battery work and how long does it last when running Windows or Linux? Do you have any issues while running the laptop on the battery in any other OS?

macOS lagging for the first few minutes after booting and logging in

I have no idea why things would change in the manner you said when mains power is provided and/or you login from the Lock Screen. That makes no logical sense. Having looked through your OC folder again, I would try disabling or removing these two entries from your OC setup...

    stuck on [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START]

The verbose text is showing a number of ACPI errors. I will have a look at your new EFI folder to see which ACPI table(s) are causing these issues, when I am next at my desk.

[Help request] Tahoe install for 9950X - MSI x870 Tomahawk Wifi

Are you limiting the number of USB ports in your setup to keep th number below 15? If yes, you shouldn’t. The 15 x USB port limit is for each USB controller in macOS. As you have an AMD system that contains multiple USB controllers each can activate 15 x ports. So as your system has 5 x USB...

    Battery Not Detected During Dual-Boot

Does the' no battery' issue occur when you restart the system after first using macOS and then booting in to Windows 10? Or does it happen even if you boot in to Windows 10 first? Do you have the battery showing and working in macOS? Which kext(s) are you using to fix the battery issue in macOS?

You are missing SSDT-CPUR.aml from your /EFI/OC/ACPI folder. This is an essential SSDT for an AMD A520 motherboard. System won't boot without this SSDT. Also you should have SSDT-EC-USBX-AMD.aml in your ACPI folder, as this is a basic/essential SSDT for all AMD Hacks. When using...
