    Beta 4 won"t update

I'm not getting any joy in updating Sonoma either!, I've tried all your suggestions but I'm still on the Beta I downloaded weeks ago.

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

I have finally settled on my build, weeks of testing and replacing thermal paste has left me with this, a Gigabyte B450M DS3H WIFI motherboard, (not the 550?!), paired with a Ryzen 7 4700G. I installed 32 GB RAM of Corsair Vengeance LPX, that allowed me to choose a whopping 16 GB of VRAM. On a...

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

I've been testing different motherboards with Ryzen 7 4700G, from the ASUS Prime A320I-K, Gigabyte B450M AC WIFI to the ASUS Prime B550M-A AC. Here's a YouTube video of navigating finder on a 550, very smooth.

    macOS Sonoma on AMD

What am I missing?. WiFi works great in Ventura but not in Sonoma, unsurprisingly!. But BlueTooth is my priority here, I can switch it on in Ventura and Sonoma but it switches off again after 30 seconds.

@joostiphone he's probably just finishing decorating and just touching up the edges and around the desk right now. I'm expecting a work of art. Do think Casey stacks his USB installers neatly or thrown across the desk?. The anticipation is killing me!.

... Though I'm sure your choice of color for your spare room took many months to choose and is as staggering as looking up to the 16th chapel ceiling. It isn't a requirement of Hack Desk, treat it like an album cover, it's just a desk.

@digu3120 congratulations on scaling the heights of Radeon Graphics installation, look at you!. As is customary for new installations, it is required that you share a picture of your desk. Nope I don’t want paying, I don’t want a website or a an App, though I appreciate your offer. What I...

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

I upgraded my motherboard again to a ASUS Prime B550M-A AC, paired with the 4700G that's a pretty good budget gaming build contender right there. Not the boost the 450 saw over the 320, but definitely, visually at least, much better to look at and watch. I feel Hack Desk episode 1.0.9.3 in the...

Try this one. You should also generate your own SSDTs for your EFI, it mentions this on NootedRed.inc, better done in Windows. https://github.com/corpnewt/SSDTTime

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

So I reset my BIOS and made the following changes and booted back to Sonoma. Also check that CSM, Above 4G Decoding and SR-IOV are disabled.

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

@digu3120 It must be a BIOS setting that's wrong. I'm going to reboot into BIOS, reset to defaults and post my changes.

Done it for you, just replace the config.plist in your EFI folder with the one attached here. I will be going to bed soon, just to let you know.

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

That is correct. Then add the boot argument ‘npci=0x0300’ to your EFI.

    Ryzen 7 4700G — Ventura 13.5 & Sonoma Public Beta — Radeon Graphics 16 GB [Renoir] — NRed

This must be your lucky day!, I wrote a guide just for you on tonymacx86. You'll find Open Cores recommended settings there. On the 320 I enabled Above 4G Decoding and ResizeBAR, I didn't use the npci=0x3000 boot arg. But on the 450 I disabled both 4G and ResizeBar and used the npci=0x3000 boot...
