by the way, you are trying to install via recovery so you need a working ethernet /wifi connection to complete installation (when Shaneee will solve CPU family Opencore problem)
I dont know where your EFI come from
you had all mmio whitelist area on but DevirtulizeMMIO quirk disabled..other stuff are weird but unrelated to your problem.
if now you saw cpu correct in previous log try only to boot with this attached EFI
I updated some kext and activated sys report to see...
you could ask where you took that EFI :P
apart joking
my EFI is calibrated for my "old" system
SSDT Bridge is not useful and also double 6950xt Device Poperties are not usuful
Kext block and also some kexts are usuful if you use a broadcom WIFi togheter OCLP app
I do not remember if kernel...
Wifi 7 never will be working (i think)
Ethernet:
Aquantia 10Gbit works with quirk and patches
Intel 2.5 Gbit (i226) works with kext
realtek 2.5 gbit "should" work with kext
realtek 5 Gbit it seems doesnt work for all
@Katanoko1221
If my config plist gives the same hang you had before doing a mmio whitelist will not solve your problem because in that config i bypass mmio problem
Sorry, problem could be in opencore which doesnt recognize well your cpu
@Katanoko1221 log you did is not useful because it misses some data like MMIO part
In the past we did some tries with an user with your same CPU and we failed (i do not know if @Shaneee solved this very weird beahviour or if it was a "user" problem
Meanwhile, i suggest to prepare a debug EFI to...
@tr4c3r2k12 if you can put your system in signature
try this exactly config.plist and see if it boots (do not change anything)
if it doesnt boot play only with MMIO part (disabling /enabling them in a single way, only one at tries)
for display problem, better to disable internal GPU via bios...

If below config helps to pass your initial hang check in verbose output if you see acpi errors, if so your DSDT needs some patching...
Hi!
Your EFI misses two important part to configure well AMD x870 chipset
1) SSDT-Plug in ACPI section
2) MMIO whitelist area properly done for your MSI motherboard
*3) your MSI board like other manufacturer could have the need to patch some acpi
you should use a debug version for opencore and...
I'm writing again in this thread after doing several "experiments" with my new system and especially after adding my second GPU
I had to move my broadcom wifi internally that I was previously using on a PCIEx adapter
mapped the usb and everything work(ed) perfectly..or so it seemed to me...
@JohnFante Proihibit sign could be related to usb problems.
did you do what i suggest some message ago about MMIO?
You enabled 4 MMIO areas, have you tried to leave enabled only one (the second one in your MMIO list)?
Opencore is not a problem and you could update from a release version to a dev...
Mylo, dont take this in a wrong way but this EFI is a mess :) :)
you use many kext and block for the app OCLP and also many stuff for Intel wifi
But, your SIP is set to 0000000
So, which hardware are you using by now?
I know your X570 motherboard, i miss all other components to understand...
@JohnFante if you like to use innie kext as before and you had success with my last EFI, enable it again
usually i disable all not mandatory stuff to resolve booting problem ;)
i use Device Properties to bypass orange icon for internal drive
you could try the same
you could also try with external icons quirk
I prefer Device Properties and use less kext i can
