Mac OS install on AMD Ryzen/INTEL (VMWare) Opencore - Improved Performance - Works with Tahoe / Sequoia / Sonoma / etc

If you didn't unselect the option during the installation it probably is by default. Have a read of this thread over at Tonymacx86 for details and how to fix the issue. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solved-enabled-filevault-and-cannot-boot.195343/

Clean install Tahoe - Asus TUF Strix X570-F Gaming

I have a created a clean installation of Tahoe 26.0 on a spare WD SN5700 1TB drive, on my Asus X570-F Gaming / Ryzen 9 5900X / RX 6700 XT / AQC113CS / BCM4360xxx system. I used my current OC EFI 1.0.5 that runs Sequia 15.7, only needing to update NootRX.kext for it to work with Tahoe. The OC...

    not a bootable image; error

Are you creating the USB installer for High Sierra on a Mac, hack or Windows system? Which guide have you used to create the USB installer? What do you mean 'burning dmg to USB' what exactly are you doing to create the installer? I am going to assume you are using Windows to create the...

    Tahoe

Select option 'C' and return to other menu. You don't need to mess with the IOKitPersonalities. As you don't have a system that is running macOS Mojave or older. You only need the kext using the AppleUSBHostMergeProperties.

Need help with macOS Sequoia on Ryzen 9 9950X (OpenCore Boot Failure)

I am sure any comments about your EFI folder were meant to be constructive, not negative. I will have a look at this later today.

    Tahoe

You need to edit your boot arguments. -v debug=0x100 keepsyms=1 -lilubetaall agdpmod=pikera revpatch=cpuname,diskread,sbvmm,pci,amfi=0x80 You don't need -lilubetaall, as Lilu and its dependant kexts have been updated to work with Tahoe. amfi=0x80 isn't a boot argument that should be used with...

You also need to be using the latest release of the AMD Kernel Patches, as they include increments to the MaxKernel for Tahoe. https://github.com/AMD-OSX/AMD_Vanilla

    Tahoe

Couple of things the you need to be aware of when installing Tahoe. You need to recreate your USBPorts.kext using one of the two methods: Corpnewt's latest UBMap script, should be a simple exercise as you already have the ports defined in your current kext. Follow the guide linked below, it is...

[SOLVED] EFI works on macOS Sequoia but not Tahoe

Using USBToolBox to fix the Tahoe USB issues won't work. As it doesn't include the new entries required for Tahoe. You would be better served using the latest release of Corpnewt's USBMap.kext in macOS to create the new USB kext. https://github.com/corpnewt/USBMap Also your current...

    Bee-Link GTR7 Mini PC - Installation Help

Yes, a copy of the EFI is attached below. It was created specifically for the GenMachine Ren 7000 system running macOS Ventura, so it would need editing to work correctly with another mini PC system and/or a newer release of macOS. I have removed the Serial Number, MLB, ROM and SystemUUID...

Try this revised EFI folder, see if it works any better. Your USBMap.kext appears to have a couple of issues. SS01 & SS02 are both set as Type-C (10) ports, but only HS02 is set the same. HS01 has been set as USB3 (3). That doesn't seem correct to me. You have absolutely no ports set as...

    Help Ryzen 5 7520u

Your CPU - Ryzen 5 7520u isn’t supported in any version of macOS due to an incompatible iGPU. Only the 7730/7530/7735/7535 CPU’s have an iGPU with any support in macOS, using NootedRed.kext. You may have to install macOS as a Virtual Machine. See the guide linked below...

Post a copy of your current EFI, including your revised USBMap.kext so I can see what you are using after your most recent changes. Do you have a Broadcom WiFi/BT card in your system? You may need to disable all OCLP kexts and patches when installing Tahoe.

You have probably made a mistake in the USB kext, if a port that previously worked doesn’t work now. I would suggest you have another go at creating the USB kext. Vous avez probablement fait une erreur dans le kext USB, si un port qui fonctionnait auparavant ne fonctionne pas maintenant. Je...

Need help with macOS Sequoia on Ryzen 9 9950X (OpenCore Boot Failure)

If the system is setting another SMBIOS, not MacPro7,1, then are you sure you are editing the correct OpenCore EFI folder? Do you have any other drives with EFI partitions present in your system? If yes, then I would recommend you remove or detach the drives(s) while troubleshooting your Sonoma...

    Solved Stuck on [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START]

First thing is you need to add SSDT-CPUR.aml table to your /EFI/OC/ACPI folder, as the B650 series of motherboards require this SSDT for macOS to boot. Your SSDT-EC-USBX.aml looks to be set for an Intel system, not an AMD system. You should not have any sub-folders within the /EFI/OC/Kexts...
