I did a USBToolbox map from Windows 11, which it should be in the efi I posted, it seems not to work with the genericUSBXHCI.kext and no other kext that we have tried, (we as in what myself, middleman and a few others suggested)
What would be the best option? I can reinstall an earlier version...
1. Middleman Suggested using MacBookPro Symbios as well, however, I was under the impression since it is a Ryzen CPU that it needed the MacPro one. (I did try it per Middlemans suggestions and it would hang at the nvme controller driver. (It was one of my previous posts)
2. Whenever I tried...
Yeah, that’s great speeds.. look at it this way, that’s as fast if not faster read write speeds than an m1 Mac mini or MacBook Pro! My specrix is a lil slower but close.
I was bored and was wondering if I could spend $200 or less for a 16"-17" Laptop and have the same battery life as a $3k Macbook Pro! I purchased a cheap $169 Asus Chromebook and installed Splahtop Person and remoted into my Ryzen 9 Hackintosh. Surprisingly, there isnt much of a performance lag...
So, just the bare min. Extensions enabled in config.plastic Or is there a setting in ioreg to dissble Kexts? Also, maybe I am doing the ioreg dump incorrectly, can you please confirm the proper way to do a dump?
Same here, in big sur, no graphics support, but all CPUS work and USB, but once in Monterey only will boot with CPUS=1 flag and no usb port is working.
With the EFI you supplied, as is, it hangs at Realtek kext, (photo attached), I am going to try whatevergreen.kext next, but last time I tried it, it would boot to a blank screen.
Ok…. Will try these changes Monday. I tried adding whatevergreen once and when I do, the screen stays black at boot. But, that might be because I don’t have agdpmod=pikera, which is needed for my desktop RX 6600 to work. (This was working without agdpmod=pikera so I never added it.
Here is the strange thing, even tho the usb ports do not work, running registry explorer, they show up in there when you pop a usb drive in and remove it?????
Same EFI I posted above.
