Apple changed something in the framework and the company that developed SmallTree has no interest in updating the kext or releasing the sources.
There is an alternative AppleIGB.kext, but that does not work reliable. Unless someone with experience writing network driver looks into that, there is...
@Darkpulse That is all the RadeonGadget is designed to do currently. That part is independent of VirtualSMC and can also work in a VM for example.
If you want a complete stats overview, SMCRadeonGPU exports the GPU temp to VirtualSMC. Tools like iStats or Sensei can then read it and display...
@amox your EFI is a mess, you have way too many unnecessary kexts in there... You also need to update to a recent OC and update the kernel patches, you're still using the old ones which don't support Monterey.
The AMD Power Gadget/Kext can read out and set the Fan RPMs on the X570-I. The main question is wether there is an SMC Key one can report them to. If so it would be relatively easy to make a kext to export them for iStats to read.
@johnlietzke The AIO header can also use the T_Sensor as source...
You can reproduce the long boot times on Samsung NVMe SSDs on Big Sur by increasing the ApfsTrimTimeout in OC.
I suspect rather that Monterey broke the TRIM timeout instead as the SSDs were known to have TRIM issues before: https://github.com/dortania/bugtracker/issues/192
It took like half an hour or so.
Extract memory settings with Taiphoon burner, import it in DRAM calculator, setting some settings, make a screenshot of the recommended settings and send it to my iPad.
Then entering them in the BIOS, pray it boots and then run a memory heavy benchmark...
I think "NVME assert failed" is a sign of the MSI BIOS issues. So with a Zen 3 you're basically locked to Big Sur for now.
So you could switch to a Zen 2 and downgrade the BIOS to a working one, or replace your motherboard with a non-MSI one.
His method is nice if the port definitions are in a separate SSDT which can be blocked. But on AMD those are in the DSDT which means you have to re-define all of the USB controllers.
In that case I find a USB map kext much simpler.
Try the Ryzen DRAM calculator, I could get my 3600 from CL 18...
