AMD Rayon R7 5800H Install Monterey kernel Panic

Interesting, but you shouldn't use a MacBook SMBIOS, or the GPU will not fully work (no HWD/HWE/DRM).

The BIOS reset is probably caused by AppleRTC writing into the wrong places which can also break sleep. https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Post-Install/misc/rtc.html

VGA_ is used by almost all Polaris+ cards.

    Upgrade to RX 6650 XT

Most AMD desktops don't need bridge definitions for Navi cards.

Unfortunately, the unaffordability of these cards will make it impossible for the near future, and testing remotely is is harder, because of having to communicate every instructions, time zone differences, etc. In my opinion, the best chance anyone has got are the WhateverRed developers, who are...

    Asrock X470 Taichi Ultimate with 3700x / 6600 XT

You need to do a cold boot. https://forum.amd-osx.com/threads/ryzen-7000-testing.3318/post-25582 One time action: Perform a cold boot, which means: Shutdown the computer Flip power switch on PSU to OFF for 10 seconds Power back up

Nice! Yes, you should try sleep, if not, we can debug it, I have never met a system where sleep was fully unfixable and I doubt it exists.

I know, but I heard reports of crashes and broken sleep when using a named framebuffer on older cards.

Yes, your props look fine. Henbury is for 6600, Belknap is for 6800 and Carswell is for 6900, older cards don't benefit from a named framebuffer. Yes, that is a very likely reason. Why aren't you disabling your iGPU? Do you need it in Windows? If yes, you should disable it with an SSDT...

My RX 6650 XT is idling between 40-45°C in Windows but it works fine, Zero RPM as well.

Why the device_type property? That doesn't do anything, and you also need only @0 name, and the other 3 will take it from the first one. Your device-id is wrong, it's 32 bit little endian, so the correct value for spoofing to 6600XT is FF730000. -radcodec is needed on any spoofed GPU (along...

    Asrock X470 Taichi Ultimate with 3700x / 6600 XT

Intel I211-AT works on AMD motherboards with AppleIGB (linked version is actually IntelMausi with E1000 support, but the name was kept, probably for consitency with the old AppleIGB kext that was unstable on many motherboards.) Aquantia AQ-107 needs some kernel patches. Where do you see VT-d...

    Ryzen 7000 Testing

The manual USB map sample by Dortania uses the full IOReg path, so that's not an issue. Yes, I get that one key wake might not work with ONLY the kext, but what about ONLY the SSDT?

For the SATA drive, you can enable ExternalDiskIcons in OC. Why do you need a kext along with the SSDT map? The map you helped me with works perfectly without any other kext.

You can make a custom USB map (or transfer your current one) which doesn't use USBToolBox and finds XHCI devices by IOReg path.

AMD Rayon R7 5800H Install Monterey kernel Panic

Can you send an image of where it stuck? Does it work without the GPU passed? You probably weren't able to pass XHC0 because it's in IOMMU Group with another devices (usually SATA and Ethernet on AMD), this can be fixed with a custom Linux kernel, but I have no experience with this on Proxmox...

Do you have -radcodec boot arg? You need it to get hardware decoding/ encoding on spoofed GPUs.

AMD Rayon R7 5800H Install Monterey kernel Panic

Running it in KVM with GPU Passthrough yields the same experience as bare metal, you won't notice the difference, but the laptop needs to support IOMMU for that, if anyone is interested, it can be tried.
