    12.3.1 WindowServer Crash

I did have the AppleMCEReporterDisabler kext included and enabled. That's why I was able to get MacOS GUI and log in, but it just reboots on its own after short period of time. adding swd_panic=1 gave me no log dumps of any sort...

    12.3.1 WindowServer Crash

Currently macOS locks up almost immediately after successfully booting up to GUI, and then auto-reboots. I tried removing BAR support / Removing Whatevergreen as well- WindowServer crashes and then reboots back to BIOS. Zero clue where to begin troubleshooting this...

    Problem with AppleMCEReporterDisabler.kext

Next time, do "View Package Content" of kext and look around and it tells you whether to populate executablePath or not.

PC hang after waking from sleep, cause known, but no solution

I would also suggest re-building USBMap by first creating and applying USBX-RHUB.aml to reset and regenerate all USB port list, just to eliminate some doubts. Then create a dummy USBMap.kext and start discovering ports and map out which ports are which. Make sure to add USB BT device as 255.

Before updating to Monterey 12.3 Beta (21E5196i)

Perhaps power supply trick maybe can fix bluetooth issue? (Turn off PC, unplug power or switch off power supply for 30 sec+, and power back on) Can I add that MCEReporterDisabler kext for 12.2.1 prior to it without breaking boot?

I want to contribute to AppleALC.kext

So I have Aorus Xtreme X570 rev 1 motherboard, Some time ago I got the audio working via AppleALC.kext with layout-id=7 But it turns out I had to connect to one of the “surround” channel to get the audio to work. I would like to know how to “tweak” this. I did find that each layout id contains...

AMD USB Port Custom Mapping Mini Guide.

Some comments to add (along with things I have learned as I worked) 1. Dorthania’s guide on USB Shutdown fix mentions using Fix Shutdown SSDT - this method is specifically for Intel builds, and is not applicable for AMD builds. Because AMD builds usually involve multiple XHC controllers, trying...

Updated to Monterey 12.2.1, OC 0.7.8 and now added Custom USBMap.kext for Aorus Xtreme X570 rev.0 motherboard. I'll take this opportunity on how I used USBMap tool thanks to corpnewt. Before talking about actual mapping, some realization: 1. Dorthania's guide on using FixShutdown SSDT with...

AudioGod's Gigabyte Aorus X570 Pro, Pro Wifi, Ultra & Master - Big Sur & Monterey Beta - OpenCore 0.7.4 EFI

Has anyone ran into issue where you shutdown the hackintosh, and then boots up all on its own to the opencore boot menu? This is happening to me many times, where it suddenly powers on its own after few hours I left after shutting it down. Dorthania's suggestion of using fix shutdown SSDT...

    BlueToolFixup.kext

Make sure you leave BlueToolInjector.kext disabled or removed. Only have BlueToolFixup and IntelBluetoothFirmware in your config.plist. After making that change, reboot to OC, reset NVRAM, and power it down, switch off power supply for like 30 seconds and power it back on.

    R9 5900X on Gigabyte Aorus X570 Xtreme with RX 6900XT - Sonoma 14.0 - OC 0.9.5 EFI

Just saw Airportlwm and IntelBluetoothFirmware RC2.1.0 came out so I updated my kexts with these -- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi performance improved greatly. Also decided to post up config.plist for OC 0.7.6 - Please use at your own risk.

AudioGod's Gigabyte Aorus X570 Pro, Pro Wifi, Ultra & Master - Big Sur & Monterey Beta - OpenCore 0.7.4 EFI

I still used agdpmod=ignore on boot-args in order to get HDCP content playback (Apple+ for example), and you need WhateverGreen kext to do this. I did also have large opencore icons, but after crashing my OC and fixed it again, the size came back to normal.

I'm not so sure-- using this kext downright made my hackintosh unable to boot :/
