Moving to Monterey 12.2 - Keyboard layout changed

Just set up a fresh Monterey 12.2 install on my Gigabyte Aorus x570i board with Ryzen 3700 and RX 6600 (dont forget to set the boot-args right...) and the current OC (0.77). Works like a charm except ethernet. I couldn't get SmallTree to work. Wifi does kinda work with the AirportItlwm kext, but...

    Temperature spikes Ryzen 7

Not afaik. As Shaneee mentioned, you can disable it in the BIOS - but you will loose performance doing it (and not be able to switch it on when you need it without rebooting...) The other way is to lock in voltage and other values which will run your CPU a lot cooler than with CPB enabled...

    Temperature spikes Ryzen 7

This is due to Core Performance Boost. If you disable it in the AMD Power Tools, you can get rid of the spikes (and your fans ramping up and down all the time, which gets quite annoying). Youre limiting your CPU that way, but most of the time you don't need it anyways... As for the Wrath Prism...

    AMD Adobe Fixes

I know, this is kinda OT, but I want to share it anyways: If you're just using Adobe casually, there might be an easier solution: Switch to Affinity - its basically the same thing, much cheaper and has a really great community support: https://affinity.serif.com/ (they have extended test perios...

    GPU Performance Improved

@Shaneee just seeing this now (havent been around a while as my system works well): does this impact graphic performance on Windows too?

    Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO WIFI

Haven't updated my EFI for a while, still on 0.5.7, so Sleep/Wake works without issues now? (working on Catalina too?) If you don't mind me asking: Why are you using Clover?

Suddenly won't boot without usb stick

I had a pretty hard time setting up dual boot without WIndows taking over as boot manager when I first setup my system, too. I finally did so by physically removing the Windows drive until OpenCore was setup correctly, but it took me hours and multiple attempts to get it right. Kinda tricky, but...

You do notice, you're running a different Motherboard, right?

Gigabyte X570i Pro Wifi no longer booting after BIOS Update to F20

Can be deleted, a simple NVRAM Reset actually solved the problem.

Gigabyte X570i Pro Wifi no longer booting after BIOS Update to F20

Don't have the time right now to look into it, but my Catalina Installation wouldn't boot after updating the BIOS on my Gigabyte X570i Pro Wifi Motherboard from F12 to F20. Just be aware and save your current BIOS before updating, just in case you need your System urgently right now ;)

    AMD 3700X X570 | Aorus Pro Wifi | Gigabyte RX5600XT

Been checking the boards for anyone figuring out sleep on x570 boards (got the same as you), but no luck so far. AFAIK there has been some success on other x570 boards with disabling/remapping usb-ports and controllers and not having any usb-hardware plugged into the system, but its not an...

    Ryzentosh for iOS Development

As usual, no sleep, no Wifi. I have the NZXT H210 (without the i) case right now, which is actually really large for an ITX build, but easy to work with.

    Ryzentosh for iOS Development

I have the current XCode version running on my system and hadn't had any problems so far.

Gigabyte X570i Pro Wifi wakes up on USB connection

I thought I'd share this for anyone still trying to figure out how to get X570s to sleep or is looking into USB-Mappings: I just noticed today, that my Gigabyte X570i Pro Wifi Motherboard starts up the system if I plug in a device on any USB-Port while the system is completly shut down... kinda...
