USB Audio interface stuttering sound

Hey guys! I'm completely lost with this issue. My audio interface ( Presonus Audiobox usb 96) is unusable due to audio stutter. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with any audio kext files, as when I plug my speakers directly into my motherboards line out, the sound is fine.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!
