Hi all,

Did anyone succeed in installing (without virtual machines) Catalina or Mojave on a Ryzen 3rd generation so far?

I have a Ryzen 3960x on a Gigabyte Designare Trx40 motherboard, 128Gb Ram and a Gforce RTX2080 Ti... and i've been using for 15 years macOSX, i like Windows too, but i have other macs, so it will be easier to install on this Ryzen the macOS...

Does anyone know a great guide for this?

I tried OpenCore, Amd Vanilla, Vmware, Virtual box none of them worked, i've had a lot of errors, most of them resolved, but couldn't make it properly.

My first post on a forum :) please help!

Running MacOS native on AM4 Zen 2 CPUs is very common here. For 3rd gen Threadripper there are currently no working patches, you'd have to go the virtualization route to run MacOS (there are other threads regarding this topic around here).

It’s largely possible today, you just need an AMD card.:)
