Hello,
I want your help. I'm kind of confused regarding which GPU I choose for video editing work in MAC OS
this is my current system info:
Processor: Ryzen 5 5600GT
Motherboard: MSI A520M PRO
Ram: 16GBx1 3200mhz, 32GBx1 3200mhz (48GB RAM)
Graphics: Currently using integrated Graphics
Storage: Crucial P3 500GB
PSU: ATOM 550W 80 PLUS BRONZE

I wanna know which graphics card fits for my use I want to use Mac os for 4k 10bits video editing (Softwares: Premiere pro, after effects, Davinci resolve)., Graphics Design, 3d animation using blender etc.
I'm thinking to buy RX 6600 8GB Graphics Card but i saw some video they said this card not good for productivity work (video editing work).
please help i can go for it or not?

The RX 6600 GPU will work, but it is not considered one of the better options, especially for high end graphics work.

The RX 6800 / 6800XT /RX 6900 / 6900 XT & 6950 XT cards are all better for high end graphics.

I was facing some issues with my RX6600. When I run geekbench 6 with Opencl then i got opencl scores around 18000 this is bad, and then I try with metal its goes around 108700 something. And I am Facing some lags on Mac OS Sequoia. And when I install Mac os in my system then I try to boot first time on the booting my screen goes blank and monitor shows sleep mode on. then I try some settings:

Remove boot-args -v debug=0x100 keepsyms=1
Set these settings in Misc > Debug
AppleDebug = False
ApplePanic = False
DisableWatchDog = True
Target = 0
Clear NVRAM before booting macOS

after these settings mac os working but i am facing lag issues some stutters and getting such a low opencl score!

Apple no longer natively supports OpenCL, that is why you see the low score in Geekbench. The metal score looks about right.

Which app(s) are you using when you see the stuttering?
