Accidentally installed GRUB loader (Linux) into macOS drive, cannot boot into macOS without USB drive

Hi,

I previously had Windows and macOS installed, each on a different drive. I decided to add Linux Mint to the party, and the installer recognized the Windows installation and suggested installing it alongside it. And it did, but it looks like the Linux bootloader is actually on the other drive, which is the macOS drive.

Can I fix this without reinstalling macOS?

If I'm not mistaken you should be able to replace EFI/BOOT/BOOTx64.efi with the OpenCore version and it should be fine... I may be wrong though...

Thanks for the reply. I did that and the macOS drive finally appeared as a boot option, but it fails to boot and instead restarts the computer. Here's a photo of what's seen on the screen when it tries to boot:

Solved by deleting the entire EFI folder from the macOS drive and replacing it with the one on the USB drive. Thank you.
