Hello everyone, I thought I would start the installation of Seqouia now...
All kexts updated, patches, core count entered... but it's still stuck somewhere. At the moment I'm at see picture

You didn't update the fourth kernel patch....

you mean the core count...I just added it. Still the same unfortunately
You haven't updated the bios before trying to install Sequoia by any chance? Have you double checked bios settings per usual? Last bit I have to offer you have way too many bluetooth related kexts loading, some for intel and other for a Broadcom card I believe. Try disabling them all and any Airport kexts to see if it helps.

Good morning,
I recreated the EFI today and was able to install it. No idea why all of a sudden!!

No audio with -alcbeta, no BT. I managed to get the network working. Now I'm downloading Beta 6 so I can continue with the fine-tuning. I'll provide the EFI and images over the course of the day.

Thank you again for the support...I've been doing this for about 15 years now but there's always so much new stuff to keep up with that it's hard for me to keep up (read a lot):-) It helps and support is very important. You don't do it every day, if it works, then it works...

Oh yes, when I use the new AirBrcmFixup.kext I get a black screen, do I need to pay attention to anything else?

Thank you

Thank you very much for that, but I have the same problem here. It boots but there is a black screen for 1-2 minutes and no BT. I'll try the EFI, maybe you can find an error...why that is.

and thank you very much for the support!
