Check this out in success stories, same board. I updated his EFI so it should load Sonoma, changed the CPU score counts to 8 too.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Maybe post a photo of what you see? I am guessing you haven't built the USB install drive correctly but from the information provided its impossible to tell.

Try remaking your macOS Installation drive/app, as it could be your installer is borked.
  1. Erase the current macOS Installation drive.
  2. Delete the macOS installation app you previously downloaded.
  3. Download a new copy of the Sonoma installation app.
  4. Format your USB pen drive as HFS+ with a single partition in Disk Utility, name the drive 'USB'.
  5. Use the following Terminal command to restore the app to your USB installer.
    1. sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sonoma.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sonoma.app --nointeraction
  6. When the installation has completed, quit Terminal.
  7. Copy the EFI folder from @lessurone to the EFI partition on your USB installer.

Your USB drive is not set up correctly, if done right at boot it will show an icon of the version of macOS you are installing and say InstallSonoma or some such label.

I mean what do i do to fix it*

Well I'd have to guess you didn't follow the instructions properly, I've never done this myself so I can't really help except to suggest to start over and take your time reading the instructions.
