Need help installing macOS Sonoma on Asus ROG Strix X670E-A, R5 7600X, RX6800XT

I noticed two things, you are using NootRed.kext for grapics which might work but you should be better suited enabling your RX6800XT cardswith Whatevergreen.kext and agdpmod=pikera boot argument. Also UTBMap.kext does nothing without also loading USBToolBox.kext first Edit: Three things, your...

    radeon r9 390x problem

Is the power connector to the video card seated correctly if it has one? Is the video card properly seated in the top most socket? You can alway try a different pcie slot, move it down one to see if it boots. How about bios settings for display, are those correct?

Do you run multiple hacks at the same time? How do you manage them on your desk?

I have a 62 inch long desk the supports my Intel Z790 Hack in an ATX Case that sits all the way to the left up top and a M2 Mac mini all the way to the right. In the middle is a Samsung 49" OLED Monitor and on the floor, all the way to the left, I have my AMD Hack set up in a larger case. I use...

Upgrade / install macOS Sonoma - Unable to boot error EB (The EFI works fine for Ventura)

Information on how to use the Flashback port will be in the online manual or search Google for for information. It varies by manufacturer, as far as creating an SSDT there were a couple of posts here I'll see if I can find.

I need help solving sleep problems

Technically you only need two of the seven ACPI files you have in the folder and five you are loading. As @Edhawk states you would probably be the first ever to not have to map USB Ports and have a fully functioning system, you can still work on bluetooth functionality and ethernet as well.

I need help solving sleep problems

I stole the discovery write up from @Edhawk because it covers the scope of what you need to do to map USB Ports quite well so credit to him but hope it helps. Whenever I use a port mapping program I always have a piece of paper and a pencil to note what slot I am plugging into, which port the...

I need help solving sleep problems

I'm sure its confusing if you have never done this before but if you aren't going to use the Aura Sync functions on the board then turn it off in the bios or you will still need to map that port. You also have to account for any headers on the board itself, not just the ports on the I/O Back...

I need help solving sleep problems

@Edhawk can help you more but Gigabyte shows these are the ports available with your motherboard utilizing the CPU or chipset which doesn't include ports that need to be mapped for bluetooth, motherboard LED control and in some cases sound (but not your motherboard). CPU: 3 x USB 3.2 Gen 1...

I need help solving sleep problems

Hey @moka, cheers your system is working and sleep is the only issue. It is almost assuredly not your M2 SSD that is keeping your computer from sleeping (regardless of what the log shows). The single most common documented cause of sleep/wake issues are lack of a proper USB Port map and in the...

You don't say which version of macOS you are trying this on, please do make sure you are running the latest Alpha version of the Airport kext for Sonoma 14.4 and above, if not guess what? There is another situation you may be well served to correct as shown in the second image. Your ethernet...

    Asus X670E Gene EFI -- Adaptable to Other X670, X670E, B650 and B650E Boards

I set this EFI up for a Gigabyte B650M Aorus Elite back in January, I was using a Fenvi M2 card in it for Wireless/ Bluetooth so its without intel kexts. Regardless it should give you an idea of what should and shouldn't be needed.
