I know there is a way to disable verbose when booting mac os up by going into boot flags but that doesn't save for all future boots. Is there any way to make this permanently or do I have to change the boot flags every time? Thanks

 :problem: little confused with the question... did you mean the -v bootflag?
if you use clover, you can change the boot flag in config.plist... if you use chameleon enoch the boot flag is in org.chameleon.boot.plist.
if your mobo use UEFI then the CLOVER or Extra folder probably under EFI partition. If you change the plist in the CLOVER or Extra folder in OSX partition while you use UEFI mobo then the change wouldn't effect anything.
