Hi many thanks, would you be able to share your Boot files as well? I'm having issues (I think) with my NVME being seen properly, using BIOS F11, did you need to change anything? Thanks again!
hi hereditarium, I managed to get it to the point were OS X is installing - I was doing something stupid with OC vs Clover. My problem is three quarters of the way through the install process I get a big stop sign come up and it goes no further! is there a BIOS setting I'm missing?
Update managed to get to install phase, by not using the 3.1 USB port - once I switched the USB stick to usb 3.0 port it worked!
Again thanks so much to hereditarium, for helping me out with the EFI folder! I have managed to get my system up and running! All looking good, had some complications with install (main on being OSX saying it could not proceed as it needed some critical files, after plugging in the internet and leaving it for a while, the error cleared !?!? So I suspect it was downloading some updates or something in the background) after that install was straight forward. Bluetooth works all fine, as does NVME, only thing not working at present is WIFI.
Some more benchmarks
Another update, getting really bad openCL performance - 8,385
, in metal I get 39,882 using geek bench. Anyone any ideas on how to fix the openCL or have any better scores?
Can confirm Bluetoth working,
1) Poor performance on openCL
2) USB 3.1 not working neither is usb-c.
3) Sleep not working
4) Wifi not working (expected I guess)
anyone know which Ktexts or SSDT's I should be using to solve any of these for x570 MB?
Sleep not working
USB 3.1 Gen2 not working (other USB 3.1 Gen1 ports are working fine), looks like there is a second controller on this board that deals with the usb-c & Gen2 USB 3.0, haven't worked out how to get these working yet, anyone else had success?
