I am running Mojave on my lenovo 330 ryzen 5 2500u with vega 8, you should be fine as you have a dedicated gpu, for me it is problem because, vega igpu is not supported. Installation is pretty straightforward, just follow vanilla amd guide, there is no special work required. With amd sata controller, you may also not be able to install on internal hard disk/ssd as it is not being detected by disk manager. So, you will need an external usb drive to install it on. You are lucky with gpu, you can get it working with some help.
