I'm trying to boot mac os installer and getting this error
[...] panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff7f82018cc9) : No HPETs available…CPU(s) configured incorrectly [...] Kernel Extension in backtrace: com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement
I have NullCpuPowermanagement kext installed but it didn't resolve the issue.
One article explains this. It says that sometimes NullCpuPowM may not work properly and it suggests to remove AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext from the OS X Volume.

But what can I do if I'm not even able to boot with my bootable media? Maybe I can remove this kext from the USB stick, is that possible?
Maybe you guys know some other tricks on how to fix this kernel panic?
