Hey guys,

I have a GIGABYTE X570 AORUS PRO Motherboard and I used the AppleALC.Kext but sound did not work natively for me. Can anyone please help me figured out the easiest way to get the sound working? It looks like it is using a "AMP-UP Audio with ALC1220-VB audio" on board.

What is the best steps or suggestions to get the ALC1220 working on Mojave?

Everything else seems to be working just fine. Thank you in advance!

:D

Are you using the boot arg? You need to use alcid=x replacing x with a layout ID. Start with 1 and work your way through these one at a time till you audio works.
Code: Select all
 layout 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 15, 16, 21, 27, 28, 29, 34
